OSHA has renewed CPL 03-00-022, National Emphasis Program (NEP) on Amputations in Manufacturing Industries until June 30, 2025. This NEP targets industrial and manufacturing workplaces having machinery and equipment that can potentially cause amputations and seeks to identify and reduce or eliminate those hazards. Area offices are encouraged to continue to conduct unprogrammed inspections under this NEP as appropriate where complaints and/or referrals allege potential exposures to amputation hazards.
